Students in the high school volunteer their time to raise money for uninsured children for the Highmark Caring Place. It's purpose is to champion the cause--to provide services to grieving children and to provide resources for professionals.
The Belle Vernon Area School District completed another successful year with the Caring Team Campaign that began in October of 2006 and ended February of 2007. Our district collected a grand total of $6,006.35. The following is a breakdown of funds collected by each of our schools.

Including our 2006-2007 Campaign Pledge, Belle Vernon Area School District has raised a total of $77,740.21. As always, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield matches all contributions dollar for dollar, so that means twice as many children & families can be helped—that brings our total contribution to $155,480.42.
Belle Vernon Area has partnered with the Caring Team since 1994 and we sincerely thank everyone for their support throughout the years.
